RECEPTION AND AWARDS FOR FRIENDS FROM FRANCE

Thanks to a two-year program of bilateral cooperation between primary school '' Kralj Petar I'' Nis, and College “Marceline Berthelot” in the Bagel near Bordeaux in France, students from Bagel, representatives of the educational institutions in France, visited Nis from16 to 23 March, with the support of the City Municipality of Palilula. Within Francophone days in Serbia, students from two schools will perform theater play "The Little Prince" to charity. For the participants of this event, Boban Dzunic, president of Municipality, organized reception in Nis Cultural Center.

For contribution to the promotion of humanitarian Activity of Palilula - "Let's help our children" and realized cooperation, representatives of the Gironde area are assigned with the Charter of Palilula, and College'' Marceline Berthelot'' in Bagel, have received acknowledgements and gold donor for contribution to humanitarian activities in the community.

In his welcome speech, the president of municipality of Palulula Boban Džunić wished welcome to guests from France and the host of the program, students and teachers of elementary school ''Kralj Petar'' in Nis. "Two years ago we established a collaboration with the French city Dulene, after the project was implemented by the students and teachers of school "Svetozar Markovic". Activity of School : College '' Marceline Berlo '' in Bagel and elementary school ''Kralj Petar'' in Nis, opened up new opportunities for cooperation. "I am grateful you have decided that a joint theatrical project "The Little Prince", supports the humanitarian activities of our community called LETS HELP OUR CHILDREN. This decentralized form of cooperation with France contributes to informing citizens, governance, culture and people of our local governments. The long-term goal of this cooperation is to support exchange visits but also a common approach to European funds. I hope, said president Džunić, that common past activities allow us to achieve this goal.

The play of the French-Serbian theater group of students'' The Little Prince'' will be shown at the National Theatre in Nis, March 21, 2014 and all proceeds from ticket sales will be paid to the charity fund "Let's help our children”.
